PEER
SUPPORT

Talk to someone who has been there before.

Peer Support Services includes a Peer Support Specialist, an individual with lived experience in substance use disorders and mental health disorders living in long term recovery, who has undergone training and certification.

Clients can expect Certified Peer Specialist support that includes offering and receiving help based on shared understanding, respect and mutual empowerment.

Certified Peer Specialists use their own experiences to help people achieve their goals, build relationships and live a self directed life. Clients can look forward to developing new skills, removing barriers and receiving support on their recovery journey.

What Our Peers Say

Lindsey Adams

"As someone in recovery myself, I know how powerful it can be to walk alongside others on their recovery journey. My recovery has helped me rebuild relationships I thought were lost, especially with my family. Today, I get to show up for the people I love and myself. Being a Certified Peer Specialist allows me to turn my past into purpose and help others find hope, build confidence, and lets me help others work towards that same healing. "
